When to do a gardening course?

Very lovely DH has paid for a garden tutor to come to my house for the day and teach me how to garden. (They do back up support too, I'm not expecting to learn everything in eight hours)

I'm very excited, this is my big new project for the year.

However I'm clueless. I know almost nothing. It's a decent sized garden and I'm a bit spoilt for choice regarding what to focus on.

For a general 'get started' day, when do you think would be the best month to book it?

TIA

Ask the tutor? But I should think mid-late Feb would be a good time, then you'd be prepared for the beginning of the gardening year. Leave it too late, you'd have missed your chance to do some things this year.

Duh - of course. Thank you! Grin
