I need some advice on turning an unruly flower bed back to lawn.
We have a long 100ft garden and despite my best efforts the main flower bed which takes up a large area, is plagued with bind weed and borage that I don't have the time to maintain.
Last spring I did my best to clear the area of weeds but I've now come to the conclusion we should just return it to lawn.
But I've got no idea how to go about it! When is the best time to make a start and do I need to hire a rotivator to ensure I get as many old plants and weeds up as I can?
