Remove seeds from packaging to gift?

Hello,

I'm a complete gardening dunce but I'm buying some seeds as a christmas present, for someone who really wants to grow this specific plant.

I was going to remove the seeds from their packaging and put them in a small pretty box (obviously will keep packaging for them to refer to!).

Would this harm the seeds in any way?

Surely the packaging will have the growing instructions on. Why would you take the seeds out of the packet?

Yes like I said I will keep the packaging. I just wanted to present it in a prettier way!

Just don't take the seeds out of the little foil packet if they have one. You don't want them getting damp.

I wouldn’t, the packet keeps them fresh.

Put the packet in a pretty box.
