How many outdoor Christmas lights for this tree?

I always like the look of neighbours' Xmas lights and might get some at Robert Days where there appears to be a sale. However, you don't quite get a sense of scale and I guess you just drape them across the front like you would a Xmas tree... How many lights would you get to cover the front of this bare hawthorn tree? I don't want to come up short.

The rake and bucket are there to provide scale.

I realise this does not quite fit in the 'Gardening' section according to conventional thinking!

I wouldn’t just drape them across the front, it’ll look lopsided. Since the tree is bare of leaves, you’ll still get the benefit of the lights at the back.

Difficult to put round the back as it backs onto the neighbours' fence!
