Daffodil bulbs

So I have a small pot with bulbs in it and green shoots. How often should I water it in the winter and can I keep it inside or should I put it outside?
Thanks!

Depends what it is. If it’s just regular daffodils you can stick it outside and ignore it until we have dry weather for a few days in a row. If it’s paperwhites they won’t survive the cold so you need to keep them indoors.

I'd probably just put it outside and ignore it. I think getting it too wet is worse than it getting a bit dry as you don't want the bulb to rot. But I don't know why I'm answering this as I haven't a clue .... someone who knows something will be along soon!

I'll just put it outside then. I've only had them in spring before when they are already starting to flower so I've had them on the kitchen windowsill.

I have bulbs in window boxes. I’ve got a place that’s got a pile of logs under a big fir tree, so I put them on top of the logs. I also wrap netting around the boxes to stop the squirrels nosing in or eating them ! The bulbs don’t want to get too wet.
