Orange tree

Hello,
My daughter has asked what I want for Christmas, I would like an orange tree in a pot, to grow my own.
That can be in my bedroom in winter, and outside in summer, so a tree in a pot.
Clementine or tangerine, something like that
Does anyone have any recommendations please

Thank you

Larger garden centres usually have a selection of citrus fruit in pots, often in the house plant section.

You might struggle growing full-sized fruit, so maybe go for a small variety like calamondin. I doubt that it would be happy in your bedroom all winter though, it would do better somewhere cool and light but frost-free like a porch or conservatory. Or indeed an orangery.

I’d love a kumquat, small fruit, intense flavour, slightly marmalade-y
