Hi, I'm not really a veg gardener, but found this: www.rhs.org.uk/advice/grow-your-own/in-month/september

there's this also: www.countryliving.com/uk/homes-interiors/gardens/a35804714/vegetable-planting-calendar/

Also, I spotted a BBC gardener's year type book in the shop the other day that you might find useful. I think it mentioned planting purple sprouting broccoli seeds about now....?

Let us know what you find out - you might inspire me! (and others)

In October you can start sowing your garlic if you will overwinter it. And spinach should still give crop if you have it under a cloche. I'm not sure what else would go in right about now.

I'm still planting spring onions, radishes, late lettuce and beetroot weekly, in pots in my greenhouse.

So far they are still sprouting and gives me something to use in stirfry. Even if the beetroot don't swell, I use the baby leaves with lettuce in salad. If you don't have a greenhouse, you could create a frame against a west facing wall.
