Clematis/aubrietia

Does anyone know if I can plant these together in the same pot? Clematis is Pink Fantasy

If not then I’d be really grateful for other suggestions - I would like something pretty, either white or pale pink that looks good, can be kept compact, is easy to grow and will tolerate shade

I know it’s quite a list but any help would be appreciated! Thanks

There was an article in the Garden recently about a clematis breeder who is concentrating on clematis ideally suited to pots - not too tall, and very floriferous. Might be worth looking out for some of them
