I've read that I should be scarifying and aerating seeding and fertilising .,... Is that the case? I usually do this in spring.

What do you think? What fertiliser should be used? I've read composted horse manure.... thoughts?

you can get autumn feed fertiliser. i used to scarify, and make up a mix of fertiliser, grass seed, compost, sand and lawn weed killer and spread it on the lawn. i had no idea what i was doing but i had a georgeous lawn Grin

i don’t have a lawn any more as i moved and now have acres of farm land which the cattle look after !
