Sacred Bamboo

I recently purchased this item from LIDL, it was the last one and did not have a label. I have re-potted it, as shown in the picture. Please could anyone tell me what variety it is and what size and spread it could reach? Thanks

It is nandina. There are a quite a few varieties - yours is probably nandina domestica. It isn't actually bamboo at all, it's fairly slow growing but if it likes the situation it can eventually get up to about 6ft.

Thank you, that's very helpful and will now find a bigger pot for it so hopefully it can keep growing as I think the foliage is lovely.
