Is there any fuscia in my plan for a memorial gift?

Bit of a weird one. My Mum has an elderly dog known to the family as "Little Ronnie". In anticipation of him not living much longer I wanted to get her a shrub to remember him by and - as luck would have it - there is a fuschia called "Little Ronnie" that would be perfect.

The only problem is that I cannot find anywhere to get one from.

Does anyone have any tips on trying to source obscure varieties of plants?

You could try Fuschia Centre in Eyemouth. The telephone no is 01361 850207 - don't think there's a website.

Brilliant! I'll give them a ring tomorrow - thanks!

The RHS Plant Finder is a good way of sourcing hard to find plants but, sadly, not in this case.

If you’re doing an online search, try Fuchsia rather than Fuschia. It’s named after Herr Fuchs.

OP, there is also a fuchsia called Ronnie Barker - which could be appropriate for a dog! I don’t know if it’s more easily available though.
