I've inherited one with the house. As I moved with a 3yo and 2month baby I've basically neglected it for 2 years. I really want to start making some use of it as the plums are delicious, but we only ever get a few that the insects didn't get to first.
How do we get more edible plums? When should the tree be pruned?
It's also surrounded by brambles which doesn't help.
Any good websites with instructions for a total newbie?
