Creating a garden reading nook

I have a 40m long 25m wide garden that overlooks fields and I would like to create a reading nook at the field end. Currently it’s just grass and a couple of apple trees - will it look odd if I adopt a corner and surround with plants? Really can’t think how to make it work. Want to create a private calming space that feels hidden away from the rest of the garden…

I've got an arbour in the back corner of my garden, with its back facing the house. So it's secluded and the view from the house is of the flowery side. Would something along those lines work for you maybe?

Oh that looks lovely and great idea about an arbour - is never known that that is what they are called

I've placed a bench behind a tree at the end of my garden, so the canopy arches over, it's a lovely place to sit.
