I ordered a deal online from Suttons a while ago for 36x 9cm perennial pots of their choice. It's finally been dispatched. I feel ridiculously excited. I can't wait to open the parcels and see what I have! Hoping they arrive today.

Yeah, that's fun isn't it? I'm a sucker for Chiltern's mixed seeds/ I bought a mixed Acers many years ago and now have a selection in my garden, some bush size, the largest 20ft high, snake barks, paper barks.

My current one is species roses - I have about a dozen prickly pots, with roses seedlings from a few inches high to a couple of feet, with different numbers of leaflets, different thorns from stiff hairs to things that wouldn't look out of a place on an eagle. A couple are sweet briar type species - the leaves were giving out a fresh apple scent even at a couple of inches high. Even with a list of what might be in the packet, identification is going to be a challenge, and I have no idea where I'm going to put them all!
