Hello. I have this in my garden and would like to buy more of these but I don’t know what they’re called. I haven’t seen them in my local garden centre so may need to google a supplier.

It's a perennial wallflower I think.

EBearhug · 21/07/2021 17:00

Erysimum Bowes mauve?

Sheerheight · 21/07/2021 17:00

Erysium, probably another name for perennial wallflower.

ForCluckSake · 21/07/2021 17:02

It's a type of salvia too late now for wallflowers

Babdoc · 21/07/2021 17:02

I think it might be a purple version of a wallflower, OP. Google Erysimum Bowle’s Mauve and see what you think.

Babdoc · 21/07/2021 17:03

Gosh, massive crosspost!

@EBearhug

Erysimum Bowes mauve?
Yes, really reliable classic and will flower all summer.
TalesOfDrunkennessAndCruelty · 21/07/2021 17:06

Another vote for Erysimum Bowles Mauve - it’s a bombproof plant and will flower for about 363 days of the year.

I have this in my garden and would like to buy more of these
If you are up for it then you could try propagating your own; it's about the right time of year. Video . Of course you will need to be super careful in the current heatwave, put it somewhere shady.

However, they will be back in the garden centres and shops next spring. They are not expensive.

Great. Thank you all

I’ll have a go propagating my own until I can buy some. Thank you
