This was my neighbours beautiful plant last May. Sadly she was the gardener and she passed away earlier this year and her husband has no idea what plant it is. I would love to have one in my garden as it's just beautiful. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like some sort of peony. They are gorgeous.

Thank you very much. Have now had a quick google and think it's a Japanese tree peony. Will order one in autumn!
