Do you think it's possible to Chelsea chop oxeye daisies? I've got a big drift of them in one border which have self seeded. I'll dig up quite a few but the main problem is they get leggy, fall over and smother plants near them. Do you think they'd flower on shorter stems if I gave them a chop in May? Google seems to think it's fine for similar plants but can't find anyone talking about oxeye daisies specifically! Maybe because they aren't usually grown in borders?
