Ant nest nightmare

Hi!

I've not posted in gardening before so not sure if this is the right place for this.

For the past couple of years we've had problems with ants nests. It's gotten so bad that it's starting to affect the foundations of the house. Last summer we got an exterminator to come but they're back again this summer.

Has anyone got any tips for removing them?

get the systemic ant poison. it is a little box that you put near the nest, the ants take the sweet stuff back to their nest & it will poison the whole ant colony. It is the only thing that gets rid of them.

I've not heard of ants nests affecting house foundations - are you in the UK?

We've tried this before and it did work but they always come back. I'll buy some more and see how I get on. Thank you

Yes I am. It's not the whole house, just the porch. We live near the seaside so there's a lot of sand in the earth and they've tunnelled right under it and it's starting to show signs of damage. I'm sick of the little buggers 😂🙈
