I'm looking for something to cover up some ugly fencing.
I saw something at York racecourse and I'm kicking myself for not taking a photo!
It was covering a wall, wasn't a climbing plant but had a leaf similar to a tree leaf but I can't place it. I know this is a useless description GrinConfused

Sorry I wasn't very clear! It was some sort of bush!
I do like those screens though.

Sorry, I've no idea what was used there, but some ivys (ivies??) look very verdant and like Acer/maple leaves.
Passion flower is a good cover, as you get flowers and leaves.
Clematis, particularly a robust montana wi give good foliage and lovely flowers if it's a sunnyish fence.
Bamboo in pots would screen nicely, but as it gets bigger, the fence would be seen through the stems unless you got the type that has leaves all the way down.
