Artificial grass on patio?

Can I lay artificial grass directly on top of a patio? I’ve heard of a few people doing it but don’t know if it would be ok? My patio is hideous and can’t afford to replace it

Yes, you can. It'll raise the level a bit, though, just in case that's an issue with door openings, etc.

Definitely! We did. If you lay it on anything else,you will need to build in drainage etc. Putting it directly on concrete is a good way for it to drain after rain. Just get good quality stuff and shop around.

Thanks both , it quite a big area to cover so didn’t want to waste money, I clean it all the time but it never looks clean!
