This flower seems to have seeded itself in my garden as I don't recall seeing it before. It is a magnet for bees. Does anyone know what it is?

Can anyone identify this for me please?

Have a look at Sicilian honey garlic. Found some in my mum's garden last weekend, very beautiful!

Here they are on the crocus website

Lucky you! I have tried and failed to grow these from seed. It's beautiful

Thanks everyone. It is rather lovely, I was very surprised when I saw it just appear one day. I might try collecting some seeds from it in the autumn although those bulbs from crocus might be an easier bet.

Nectaroscordum - they’ve got a reputation for being prolific self-seeders, although I struggle to get them to take in my garden.

Can't add a thing / no idea... but I totally love this you lucky thing.

Yes, nectaroscordum. I planted a couple three years ago. A couple more have grown this year, so they are spreading ever so slowly.

Sometimes called honey bells. I got some bulbs from Tesco a few years ago.

I love them, I have quite a few and they haven’t seeded much but I do get the occasional new one popping up.
