Oh it did have lots of pods on it along with the bare branches so I think it must’ve flowered at some point.

So could be much later. If it is a tp you are in for a treat. Could be white, yellow, or various pink shades but when it flowers it's just gorgeous. Here's mine! The flowers are humongous. Will you update when it flowers?

Oh you're in luck! May not flower this year, bit late, but looks like a well grown beauty. Don't cut it this year, wait for it to flower first.
