Looks like a lilac maybe? Did it smell nice?

ApolloandDaphne · 09/06/2021 14:46

Oh I see you said it smelled nice in your post! I was too busy looking at the picture to read properly. Definitely lilac then!

fallfallfall · 09/06/2021 14:47

Maybe Miss Kim lilac.

NoviceGardenLady · 09/06/2021 15:03

Thank you!! Will lilac grow in a pot or is that epic wishful thinking?

No clue, but if cities can plant trees in pots surely you can find a pot for a shrub (although a big shrub) which means a big pot

ApolloandDaphne · 09/06/2021 15:13

I think lilacs have an extensive root system although you can get dwarf varieties which might work in a pot. Go to a garden centre and have a look.

WeAreTheHeroes · 09/06/2021 15:21

You can get varieties suitable for growing in pots. I love lilac and the scent is beautiful.

fallfallfall · 09/06/2021 15:25

Miss Kim is small (for a lilac) BEWARE there are several varieties of lilac.

NoviceGardenLady · 09/06/2021 15:37

I find it hard to get to decent garden centres (don't drive).

I'm after a lilac variety that smells wonderful and will grow in a pot Grin
