Gaura in containers?

I took cuttings and grew some from seed last year and now have several strong young plants, all white I think. My garden is a bit full until dig out some of the perrenial geraniums that have taken over the border.

It occurred to me that they would look good in pots. Has anyone tried this? I have a few large containers as yet unfilled.

I can’t see why they wouldn’t be ok, as long as they get watered and the occasional feed. I grow lots of things in containers that might normally be in the ground.
Sometimes on Gardeners World they show whole gardens growing in containers.
