Will my peony ever bloom?

Moved here 4 years ago. 2 well established peonies. Neither has bloomed in that time.

Anything I can do?

Is it in a reasonably sunny position?

Try a bit of lime and some phosphorus heavy fertiliser?
Is there competition from other plants (eg nearby tree) and is the location sunny enough?

Yes, a sunny position.

No trees nearby but other border plants around them - perhaps I should clear around them? But lots of healthy foliage and not at all straggly.

Will look into fertiliser .
