I have a raised bed in my back yard which has a lovely big honeysuckle in the middle, and a massive lavender and sage bush to one side which gets the sun until mid-afternoon.
There's quite a bit of space underneath the tree but it's very shady. I tried digging down a bit and there's loads of roots in there (I assume from the honeysuckle).
Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do with it? It would be nice to have something growing there. I am a very novice gardener but have managed to grow some stuff this year thanks to MN, so I'm very eager to make it nice. I've attached some photos (they aren't the best but show what I mean!)
