Could anyone tell me what the first plant is ( poppy? Weed?) and could the second one be a foxglove?

The blue one is a borage if that's what you mean?

Sorry @FraterculaArctica, not a great picture.

The first is not a poppy, but doesn't look like a UK wildflower that I recognise. I think it's worth keeping . The blue one in the background is Green alkanet, not borage. Some people find it a bit over-enthusiastic.

Pretty sure the second isn't foxglove, but I don't know what it is. It doesn't look quite right for a dock, although it could be. Foxglove leaves are downy, which gives them a greyish-green colour, and the secondary veins don't make those obvious turns back towards the central vein that you can see so clearly on the top leaf. If you google foxglove leaf you'll see what I mean.

Just thinking - it's so hard to id from a photo! If I saw your plant, I'd now be looking at stems to see whether they look like dock stems (docks are the same family as rhubarb and the leaf stems look like mini-rhubarb in shape).

The one in the second photo looks a bit like delphinium, larkspur or monkshood to me. Or maybe mugwort? I'd leave it to see what, if any, flowers develop as it's nice looking foliage ... just be a bit careful handling it in case it is monkshood.

'It doesn't look quite right for a dock, although it could be. ' ... yeah, that's what I thought.

Delphinium leaves are more dissected than that. Agree it's not foxglove but not quite sure!

Second one might be mullein/verbascum, although the leaves of the more pounced up ones are furrier than that.

Worth leaving to see what happens.

ponced up

The second definitely isn't foxglove and Im pretty sure it isn't verbascum (or at least mine don't look anything like that). My vote is dock.
