It looked like this last July and I loved it but clearly haven't looked after it properly as it is looking a bit sad now. Anyone know what it is so I can give it the love and care it needs? Thanks!

Looks like a hebe but see what others think

Some of mine died, I think from frost or being too wet on our clay soil

Looks like hebe pink candy to me.

I would give it some time as lots of things are late this year and many have been affected by the late frosts and dry spell.

At first glance I thought that it was a hebe, but it actually looks more like persicaria. Did it lose its leaves in winter?

Like the others said, everything is coming out late this year!

Persicaria has upright flower spears. If that ain't a hebe, I'll eat my trowel.

It’s one hundred percent a hebe pink candy.

Thanks all. Looks like you've found it - hebe pink candy. Now I can Google a solution! It's got very leggy this past year...

Thanks again!
