Blight on pyracantha - what to do?

I have a lovely pyracantha that's about 2m tall growing up an east facing wall. It's about 7-8 years old.

I've noticed today that some of the leaves have turned brown and there are black spots on others. Some of the young berries are dead while others are fine.

Is this some sort of blight? Should I cut it back or is it a goner? (It fills a small gap between us and our ndn so I really hope we can simply cut it back). Thanks!

Sorry, that should read buds, not berries.

I had this on mine too. I used a fungal spray and cut of the infected leaves and branches. It has come back really well.

Oh that's good to know. I cut it back quite hard yesterday so it's looking a bit sorry for itself. Am plant buying today, so I'll look at sprays while I'm there.
