What can I add to this raised border?

We have a newly built raised border that was done 6 months ago - we chucked in a couple of quick fix shrubs but now want to plan for the longer term. It's east facing so morning but not all day sun. We've planted climbers to go up the wall and looking for something that will spill over the sleepers to soften the edges.
Any suggestions?

The palm plants make the border look tropical inspired to me, so I’d go for dark leafed cannas towards the back and orange and/or red and yellow alstroemerias, possibly nemesia too.

Canna lily ‘Tropicanna black’
Alstroemeria ‘Indian summer’
Nemesia ‘rhubarb and custard’

Possibly heathers , you can get winter or spring / summer flowering. Aubretia can look lovely. Creeping phlox , campanulas .

Bacopa are a great spiller. Flower all summer until the frosts.
