What happened to my foxglove?

Novice here!

It has all these extra shoots coming off it now, quite high up.

When looking at pics online I thought it was just going to be one spire

Is this normal or do I need to do something with it?

My others only have one shoot/spire

Thank you

Normal! (In my experience)

That's normal.

Leave it for now then once the flowers on the main stem are over you can cut it off and the other spikes will take over.

Thanks so much

Yes that’s normal! OP I see you have it in a pot. You know that most foxgloves are biennial, right? So it probably won’t come back next year? They freely self seed so once it’s set seed, shake it over your borders and in two years time you should have lots of lovely cream foxgloves.
