Lawnmower recommendations

I've got what I would say is a medium sized garden, with a long rectangular lawn. There's a fence on one side and a path on the other. I moved in here in December and brought my trusty hovervac with me. However it just blows the grass everywhere - I spend longer sweeping it all up than actually cutting the grass. Any recommendations for a new mower? Not spending more than £150 ideally :)

I'd always recommend the lovely petrol one I have, but it's considerably more than your budget so that won't help... what about this one, same maker but electric-powered cordless. If I had less lawn to cut I would probably use something like this. Seems well recommended and has the all-important grass basket! These are also very useful in autumn as you can use the mower to lift the leaves from the grass and chop them up ready for the compost heap or leafmould. Saves you raking them up. Win-win!

We recently got a Mountfield electric mower, it was around your budget, and it's very good. The grass box was an arse to assemble but clicked together after being heated up a bit in front of a radiator.
