Jasmine Beesianum -pots ok?

Got two of these (see pic). Debating either 2 at the back of my border (straight into the ground tomorrow) or one in ground and one try to grow in a pot to go over the pergola. Option 3 is just to pot them up until they get bigger and decide next spring. Not sure if they do well in pots.

I've had one a pot for a couple of years and it's doing OK. It's probably doubled in height in that time, so not as vigorous as it would have been in the ground, but it seems quite happy.

Thanks. Potted them both up today. May leave them in pots for a year. I want them at the back of my border but they would not get much light at current height....but if they can double I height by next spring I shall stick them at back of border.
