Dog urine ruining grass

Please can anybody recommend anything that work to help our grass from being spoilt. We have two dogs that both get good walks every day, but still wee in the garden, which spoils the grass?

Some people swear by dog rocks (stuff you put in their water bowl) but I've found that doesn't work - probably because my dog seldom drinks from his water bowl, but prefers muddy puddles, random containers and the bird bath

The only thing that has any effect is to pour a bucket of water over the wee every time which is a PITA. It's one of the downsides to having dogs.

Yes basically you have to dilute it. Have a full watering can on hand when they go out for a wee.

Dog rocks are amazing - absolutely worth a go, my lawn is back from yellow patches to glorious green!

Supposedly giving them tomato juice every day helps alter the urine. I don't know if it really works or how much, but may be worth looking into.
