Planting out Lavender

I am planting out some lavender plants that have been in a greenhouse. As they have been protected they have shot up long stems with flowers on. Does anyone know whether I should trim these back now they are planted out or leave them. In other words are they better putting their energies into rooting rather than flowering?

Yes, i think thats a good idea - hopefully they will bush out and flower in a few weeks - good luck!
