For the last month I have been cosseting my little babies, in out, cloche, cold frame, heater on in greenhouse, grow lamps on in shed. But WTAF is this driving wind and rain

I have a courgette growing. I am waiting to see if I get to harvest it before it gets planted out.

I have lots of sunflower seedlings which are getting very tall and skinny... how to fatten them up if it's not warm enough to plant out yet?

If they’re getting lanky, it’s because the warmth and nutrient levels are driving more growth than the light levels can support. More light, less warmth, don’t feed unless the leaves show you need to.

Thanks MereDint. They're in the kitchen (no heating on overnight), against a south facing window, but I've opened the window today to let the cold winds rip through them!
