Car boot selling

I sold a lot of hanging stonecrop sedums that were flowering yellow at car boot today.I've also got a lot of teasels nearly a foot high now second year. Can I dig these up ,put them in pots to sell next time or will they die off.Or would it be better to dig the smaller ones that were grown in deep shade and hope they sell aswell as the taller ones. Many thanks for any advice

Worth a try I suppose - maybe have a go with both and see which does better in a pot. Someone at our local car boot sells walnut tree saplings. They are really popular, and she has a never-ending supply of walnuts from the tree in her garden.

Thanks .There must be a lot of walnut trees around your area.I've grown some red maples that were from next doors tree which sprouted in the garden and I've got small paonies popping up all over the garden might try potting them up too.Its nice getting into conversation with majority ladies that buy the plants about gardening and make well needed cash too.Smile

Great really happy both sizes ok .I was a bit worried because they were both starting to curl after I dug them out yesterday.I placed them in shortened empty compost bags with holes in the bottom because the root ball so big to fit in a pot.I've left a lot to grow in my garden because they were given to me by my lovely neighbour who is also a gardener.I'd never heard of it before so looked it up and apparently it's a weed, but I'm looking forward to it looking great with the seeded on hellebore that I've planted around the garden.I can't sell this weekend because my wife's Birthday can't risk the trouble that will cause. So will get down the Carboot with my my meulenbekia also that sell well because everyone haven't a clue what it is.Just thought I'd updateSmile

I didn’t know car boots were allowed to open again after covid?

Yes ours opened last week.I was a bit freaked out by a couple of gents coming to close .I was backing up but one actually followed me with no mask. But usual scrum for stalls when first opened with hardly any masks a bit mad really.
