Soaking bare root roses

How long can I soak a bare root rose? I've just received it, could I soak until tomorrow morning? Thanks in advance.

Probably a bit late now, but would have thought overnight is fine.

I am a bit rubbish at soaking mine- they either seem to get way over the recommended 2 hours or way under it, but everything seems to be growing nicely.

I know. Me too. In very tempted to see whether the David Austin 15% off code still works, but that’s dangerous stuff! Sure I could find space in the garden for a couple more though.....
