Her when we moved in 20 years ago.
Picture taken just now, so currently flowering.
Must be grafted onto rootstock as get all that green growth from the bottom (which would overpower it if I didn't prune it off, and which has vicious spikes).

Found it - Purpleleaf Sandcherry.

It's probably grafted onto blackthorn (prunus spinosa) hence the thorns.
