Looking for a little advice please?

I have ground elder in my vegetable patch and wondering what I can use to get rid of it and how long until I can plant again after I’ve treated it?

Thank you Flowers

In my personal experience you will never fully get rid of it unfortunately. My neighbour has been tackling theirs with some pretty strong chemicals but that doesn't sound like something you would want near your veg plot. I just keep pulling it up so it doesn't completely take over.

I got rid of a very bad infestation by covering it with black plastic and leaving it for a year. Could you do that with half of the veg patch this year and the other half next year? I’d be wary of the chemical warfare approach if you’re growing veg nearby.

Digging up is the only way to keep it under control, but won’t rid you of it.
