Have I messed up the lawn

So I've taken out some of the bad parts of the lawn that weren't draining well, moss'y and full of thatch. I've relaid new top soil on parts and reseeded. But nothings come through yet and its been cold and then even colder, we've had snow and bloody frost.

Am I being impatient? Should I wait it out? Or should lay new seed down again

I would re sow end of May, making sure you water well regularly if its still this dry.

We've got sprinklers, just cheapo ones from Amazon, will they be good enough?

When did you do the seeding? It can take 14 days of the ground being over 10 degrees for some seeds to germinate. I would just hang on and it will all appear in the next week or so. Temperatures are due to rise again next week.

Just after that recent heatwave, maybe 2 ish weeks ago.... The temps haven't risen at all.
