Recommendations for plants for north-facing window boxes

Does anyone have any recommendations for plants for north-facing planters and window boxes? They'd be in our front garden. My preference would be for lighter colours/ whites to stand out against a dark front door. Thank you!

I'm trying similar - it's difficult isn't it? The shade is almost total! I'm considering corydalis lutea. Looks a bit like a maidenhair fern but with small yellow flowers. I remember we had it growing in a particularly dark, dank alley when I was a kid so I think it is very shade tolerant. Another one I'm considering is the creeping campanula - I think bigger plants of this should tolerate the shade once they're established. Final alternative I'm looking at is mind-your-own-business in different colours of green.

I love lobelia. It comes in white as well as shades of blue. The trailing variety is nice in window boxes.

Also fuchsia and impatiens are happy in the shade and quite attractive.

Lots of begonia are happy in shady.
Easy to plant and care for and will give a good display right into October.

Busy Lizzie (impatiens) thrive in more shady aspects

Geraniums did well for me last year, white ones really brightened the shaded area up with some ivy to trail down
