What plants for hanging basket?

I know nothing about gardening or flowers etc but keen to learn.

I would like to put up a hanging basket out the front.
The front garden really doesn't get much sun at all. Maybe an hour at sunset.

What flowers would be best for a hanging basket which don't need much sun to them?

Sorry if this is a silly question, I really don't know a thing about gardening or flowers.

Begonia come in both upright and trailing and will be happy in shade.

Put them in a big basket. I’ve had those begonias for 3 years now, put them in dry compost over winter in the garage. They last brilliantly.

But you need to feed and water.

Heucheras would be my choice.
They aren’t ‘traditional’ hanging basket plants in that they aren’t covered in flowers but they come in almost every colour imaginable from deep black to bright orange, yellow, reds, pinks, purple...
They are very hardy everygreen plants and don’t need bringing in over winter, minimal pruning.

You can't go wrong with lobelia. They make a lovely trailing display

More colours

Hosta is another good one.
It is another ‘non traditional’ plant but I can think of very, very few traditional flowery plants that would do alright in shade.
