Non floppy plants for a barrow border

I've a border next to the drive. So path, border, wall down to drive.

Its about a foot wide st the widest and tapers to about 8 inches at the narrowest.

The drop to the drive is about 2 foot.

Ideally I'd like relatively low maintenance but bee friendly. And if I could introduce some height it would be nice to see from the window overlooking it.

It gets sun most of the day in summer. But us quite dark in the winter.

In a similar border I have Vinca, euphorbia, spring bulbs, crainsbill geraniums, Persicaria and campanulas.
In the summer dog daisies also grow there.

That sounds lovely. Does it look a bit bare in winter or ok?

Not really, as it is sheltered, the only bonus. The geraniums remain green and flower until the end of October/ early November. There are a couple of sedums which flower in Autumn and the seed heads last all winter. Depending on the weather the spring bulbs start shooting up in the new year. I’ve just put in some ajuga as ground cover, hoping that will go through the year.
It’s all a bit of experiment.
