Would you do it? I'm thinking about it, a sive read black just fades into the back and let's the plants really stand out.

Wondering if anyone has done it and whats their feedback

I've seen one black fence locally it looks great. I'm not sure how it weather's as it is new.

I was sceptical until I saw it, I think it looks great.

We painted our fence at the side of the house and the gate black. It matches the front door and looks smart. We painted the shed and a side fence in the back garden black too and I much prefer it to any of the browny orange stains. The plants do stand out against it.

It looks great. Flowers look brilliant against it. Definitely go for it.

I painted our fence black, but it's chalk board paint so that my kid can draw on it Smile I think it looks decent.

We did ours last year - looks great , but faded a lot and have just redone it
Think it might need to be done every year

Thanks for all the comments. My current fence is rusty red, it needs repaitning as its faded so I take on board needing to repaint which is fine.

I think it would look very nice and also pretty modern. I'm ,ore of a traditionalist and have the very dark brown (almost black) and paint the posts with white masonry paint, and the plants look lovely against the dark background

Never!
It’s dark and dreary and oppressive.
I have white fences
