Is this a foxglove?

Planted some last year but forgotten exactly where they where. Now it seems early in the year and these look way too big to be nice plants and not weeds???

Yes, looks like it. I know what you mean about the weed identification too, that's largely how I do it. If it looks lush and healthy, it's probably a weed!

I've found one at the back (not as lush) with a stake still in it so it looks like they are very healthy foxgloves. ThanksDaffodilThanksDaffodilThanks

I'll keep an eye on them just in case they are weeds fooling me!!

yes, could be.

comfrey or alkanet look similar at that age but have rounder leaves.

Definitely not comfrey or alkanet I'd say. Looks like foxglove but could also be verbascum.
