Two questions... bulbs and trees

If you have bulbs in a pot once they bloom should you remove the bulbs (to play up other stuff) or leave them in the pot. And if you do lift them out can you keep them to replant them?

Also a good tree to grow in a (big) pot?

Thanks

I lift mine from the attractive pots and put them into large spare plastic pots until the leaves die down. Then I either plant them in the garden or leave them till the autumn and repot in the attractive pots, with new compost.
I have Olive trees, a eucalyptus and a Rhus staghorn in pots.

No idea on bulbs.

For pots, I have an Acer and a hardy hibiscus in pots. Acer seems very happy, hibiscus is young so time will tell.

I am going to road-test bulb baskets next year, but this year I'm chomping for my pots so will do as @Beebumble2 suggests.
