What on earth could I plant here???

The front of my house is my driveway. It’s all paved apart from two planting spots which are accounted for. One has got a new planted a amelanchier in it. The driveway faces south.

To the right of the amelanchier is a wall. It’s low - maybe 75 cm high. But a couple of meters long. There is a planting area just in front of the wall (so it’s a north facing wall). But the planting area is only about 10cm deep. Any planting ideas from the experts?

Hope my explanation makes sense!

Thanks

how much work do you want it to be?

You could plant lots of spring bulbs and then some hardy geranium (rozanne or similar) to come up after. It'll be a bit bare in winter though so maybe some hebes to give some structure.

I'd be tempted to put something airy in as well - mind is a blank - but to give some height.

But if just low maintance then hebes maybe?

Thanks! I think I want it to be very minimal work! It’s such a narrow space it’s barely there.
