Garden fence colour?

Can’t decide between grey or black and need to make my mind up and get on with it!

We haven't done it but I would choose black, our garden office is black and the greenery around it looks so good. There was a thread on black fences not so long ago with lots of positive comments.

White!
I can’t stand black or grey personally.
Too dreary and heavy.

Do you want it to blend into the background, with lots of plants in front, and trick the eye into seeing the garden as larger than it is? Or do you want the fence to be a feature?

Hard colours, black, white etc stand out. Soft greys and olive greens fade into the background.

I’m thinking of painting ours either blue or green, whichever I choose it would be a muted shade.
Personally I think grey would be dreary.

My DH is currently painting ours a dark grey. I will take a picture and show you. I think it looks nice with the plants against it. The garden is slightly barren right now though!

Love my grey fence. Used wilko paint and it looks great.
