This online source of inexpensive plants was recommended to me on here and were great during lockdown when garden centres were closed.
I just wanted to come back and say that I have just ordered from them this week. I recieved half the order and what arrived was really poor. No refund, no reply..telephone number not working. I think you can still order - but be aware it might not be a good experience.

Interesting, I’ve just bought four plants from them and they’ve arrived in beautiful condition.
The firm I won’t use again due to dead plants and unsatisfactory replacements is Hayloft.

@ArmchairTraveller - that's interesting. I have looked at Hayloft but never bought from them. Update from me - I got my refund just after I posted. Think I will go back to the garden centre rather than buy online.

The plants I received earlier in the year from the RHS were in beautiful condition and packed so well. A world way from my Sutton's deliveries last year.

I have bought heucheras from secret gardening club which were in great condition and doing great.

I also ordered penstemons from hayloft in the past and they arrived in great condition too and doing great

I’ve had brilliant plants from hayloft...they do sell the small 9 inch pots so you hav3 to know what you are getting.

RHS were fantastic, beautifully packaged healthy plants.

Paramount were fantastic too. Great customer service.

T&M have also upped their game this year.

Marshals also good.

I’m replanting an entire garden, in a hard to reach postcode....I’ve done a lot of on line ordering.

Hortology for indoor pots and plants.

I've just tried Burncoose and Parkers - both sent as described, speedily and in good condition.

BigWolfLittleWolf · 26/03/2021 11:47

J Parker’s is the only one I have ever had problems with; a buddleja delivered completely dead and brown throughout.

TBF, apart from when T&M went through a rubbish patch, I've always found the main mail order companies and specialist nurseries really good on refunds when a plant arrives in less than perfect condition (or as a dead twig).

Sarah Raven is good too. But expensive.
